New furnishings and decor. TV and VCR with a huge Video Library. Walking distance to the lake trail and Tavern Bay Beach Club. Fantastic home with wonderful charm and the best view around! A sure favorite!

  Our extended family comes each year in the Summer. The view of the lake really makes this property unique. We cook a lot in the well-equipped kitchen and brand new barbeque on the back deck. Also Mother-in-law uses a walker and this allows minimal stairs to enter the house and full access for everything on that main level. Also we love Beth at Arrowhead Rentals--everything is taken care of and they are always available.

  We recently sold our cabin in Lake Arrowhead after 11 years. Our family tradition is to spend the Thanksgiving week/weekend all together. My husband is handicapped and can not climb many stairs, so I was worried about finding the right home to rent to accommodate us. This home was perfect with only two steps into the home and the master and main living area, including the awesome view from the deck! The kiddos enjoyed the game room and we had some epic ping pong tournaments! The deck overlooking the lake was relaxing and we enjoyed then propane fire table for s’mores! Overall a wonderful, comfortable home. We look forward to renting it again.

  The actual home was lovely. They thought of everything a guest might need. The view of the lake was amazing! Our only suggestion would be that the room with the twin beds desperately needs new mattresses!! Our suggestion for the cleaning crew, don't forget to dust the ceiling fans! There was a very thick layer on the blades. Otherwise it was perfect!

  Unfortunately, the place had not been clean when we arrived. We arrived with several small children and had to wait much too long, even though I called ahead to see when we could check in, The house was beautiful, large, magnificent view, but very difficult with parking and too far to walk to lake. I think with a "deep cleaning" and better supervision from the management co. I would highly recommend it. The disposal of garbage was also impossible.

  The chairs, sofas and bedspreads were visibly dirty, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the cooking tools cheap and falling apart, the driveway had limited parking (and the garage was locked) and the snow shovel was so old and bent it was useless. All in all, I would NEVER stay in this location again. The only reason I did not give it 1 star for all was because the building itself is beautiful and in a gorgeous spot. Otherwise, 1 star for all owner provided items.

  When we arrived, there were a few areas that needed to be cleaned, but we're probably too picky. The only change I would make to this fantastic vacation rental is the mattresses in the back (twin bed) bedroom and the side (queen bed, with sailboats on the bedspread) room. They're very uncomfortable! The house is gorgeous, with lots of room and bathrooms for everybody, and the view is probably one of the very best on the lake. The Tavern Bay Swim Club makes the rental especially desirable. This was our second stay at Coyote 8, and we absolutely, positively love the property. With the exception of those two minor complaints, which are very fixable, I would say this is the best property we have ever experienced, and we have stayed at many. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! As Arnold says, "I'll be back".

  Beautiful view! The master bedroom didn't have an available closet, so that made it difficult to hang clothes near this room. Ant problem in the kitchen. Very little parking, so don't bring too many cars! Other than that, it was a beautiful place to spend some quiet time.

House was not clean.Stuff in kitchen cupboards not TP upon arrival; had to drive back to town. staff at AAA very nice but very disorganized. Lost my initial paperwork/deposit info-called me to advise they were going to rent house to someone else if I didnt send paperwork even though they had already CASHED my check and called me to ask ? about all the paperwork I faxed--they had lost it all and hadnt recorded that they cashed my deposit. Sent us to old office location. They couldnt locate my file upon ckout. This review has wrong prop-we were in Wildrose house not Coyote.This house needs new furniture; it was a bummer. recliner chair in living room was broken, torn and dirty....View is what made our stay good. I would recc this house for view alone but would advise to be ready for subpar furnishings for a house this nice.....never the less, a gorgeous place to be for Christmas

  Coyote 08 was spectacular and met all our expectations. The lake view was awesome, and we often just sat and stared at the view. The home was nicely appointed, and the kitchen had everything one could imagine. The walk to Tavern Bay Beach Club was pleasant,
  and the beach club was very well-maintained and a thrill to use. We felt like we were at a million-dollar resort. The only suggestion we would make is to provide more board games for children. The ones there were unfortunately abused by previous renters and
  had several pieces missing. The adults and children loved the ping-pong table. The queen bed in the blue room could use new mattresses, as could the twin beds, but they weren't terrible. Overall, I would highly recommend Coyote 08 to anyone who loves luxury,
  and we plan on renting it over and over. Thank you for having us.

  The view was wonderful and the home spacious and comfortable with "homey" feeling. Ping Pong was great and pool table good entertainment if you're not serious--and we weren't. The bathrooms were ample, nicely appointed and very clean. Kitchen was great but felt obligated to wash all dishes, utensils before use after finding several poorly washed. Pot holders needed dumping. Likely due to prior tenant. We loved our stay and will request this property on our next visit.

  I took a wipt to the leather chair and couldn't believe the dirt that came off.
  We have stayed in Mammoth for over 30 years , paid a lot less with furniture you could sit on. Believe me i under- stand the problem of keeping up furniture in a rental. Even hotels recycle their furniture every five years.

  The house was everything we hoped it would be. We had a chance to get away from it all and enjoy quality family time in an amazing setting. The view was outstanding as well as the home's layout. The only slightly negative things were the parking and living room furniture. The parking was very sloped but managable and the furninture was in good looking condition but aged and very mushy. The couch was uncomfortable and hard to get out of but not bad enough that it would keep us from going back. We loved our mountain top Christmas experience.

  This home is warm and inviting with a great useable recreation room, flat panel TV with cable. Its decor is tastfully done yet child friendly. The kitchen is well equiped and organized. The large number of bathrooms makes getting ready for a family outings fast and easy. Parking is adequate and can handle three cars if one is small. The outdoor deck and patio with fire pit and barbeque let us bask in the sun one day and play in the snow the next. This was a great location.
